RPOne leads Rolls Royce SMR recruitment

We’re thrilled to announce that Rolls-Royce SMR has appointed nuclear recruitment specialists, RPO1 – part of the Morson Group – to support its largest recruitment campaign to date. We will support the company to fill circa 400 initial vacancies and source the talent required to deliver clean, affordable and sustainable energy for all.

Rolls-Royce SMR’s small modular reactor (SMR) programme is the first of its kind in the UK, with the opportunity to develop a factory-built nuclear power plant that is deliverable and scalable at a global level.

Rolls-Royce SMR is the UK domestic energy champion and will play a key role in achieving the Government’s British Energy Security Strategy, which pledges to accelerate the expansion of nuclear by delivering the equivalent of one nuclear reactor per year instead of one per decade.

Having begun the design assessment process with the UK regulators, the organisation is at a point where it needs to significantly increase its workforce, offering candidates the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology within a world-class team.

As such, it has appointed global talent solutions specialist, Morson Group and its RPO1 team – a recruitment process outsourcing solution designed to help start-ups through to those working at scale to achieve their talent ambitions.

Roles will be open to experienced nuclear professionals, young talent and graduates alike, creating a truly diverse workforce that is representative of the communities that will benefit from the results of the programme.
